Thank You, Spring Funding Drive 2018
Spring on-air fundraising began Mar. 1 through Mar. 18, 2018
For more than two weeks across our Kansas City PBS channels, we encouraged you to be our neighbor. We enlisted the help of legendary household names, enthusiastic on-air hosts, and KCPT studio guests to encourage that special feeling you have when you sustain public television. And you've responded generously.

Your support helps fund the highest quality of local and national programming that connects you to arts and entertainment, education, nature, history and public affairs. Your support also helps keep us connected to one another.

There were many reasons to celebrate in these two weeks, including our childhood memories of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, the 10th anniversary of Celtic Thunder, and Brit Floyd's special recognition of the 45th anniversary of The Dark Side of the Moon album. We saw an outpouring of support for a global cause with the program Nature: Naledi, One Little Elephant and our partnership with the International Elephant Foundation, as well as support for KCPT's educational initiatives for early childhood, literacy and STEM. KCPT is proud to bring you such exciting opportunities.

Collectively, your individual contributions are the largest source of revenue for KCPT, and collectively you are the largest source of advocates for public media in Kansas City. It’s such a good feeling when you support public television on KCPT.
