KCPBS is thrilled to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, running Tuesday, Sept. 15 through Thursday, Oct. 15, with a series of documentaries and special programming highlighting the music, history and cultural touchstones within the community. Eliades Ochoa: From Cuba to the World | Oct. 16 at 10 p.m.

"From Cuba to the World" traces the life and career of acclaimed guitarist and singer Eliades Ochoa, who rose to worldwide fame in the late ‘90s as an original member of the legendary international Cuban band, The Buena Vista Social Club.

32nd Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards
